II.Common questions

Before you book the round.

The program

Who is this best for?

Buyers, sellers, and investors who want coordinated Realtor and lender guidance in a more relaxed setting than a traditional seminar.

What topics are covered during the round?

Typical topics include pre-approvals, monthly payment planning, touring homes, inspections, appraisals, offer strategy, negotiations, closing costs, seller credits, and closing timelines.

How long does each format take?

Golf rounds run about 3–4 hours. Coffee meetups and office sit-downs are 60–90 minutes. Virtual planning is 45–60 minutes.

Is this affiliated with a specific lender or brokerage?

The program is hosted by a Realtor and lender team, but you are not required to use any specific provider. You can bring your own lender, compare options, or use the session for planning only.

Applying

Is there a cost to apply?

No. Joining the next-round list is free and does not create an obligation.

Who pays for the round?

We do. Greens fees, the cart if you need one, and the time on the course are fully covered. The only investment is your time.

Do I need to be pre-approved to apply?

No. You can join the next-round list first. If selected, the lender maps the right pre-approval path from your current stage.

How much information do I need to provide?

Only name, phone, and email are required. Buyer type, timeline, and golf experience help us match the right format — everything else is optional.

How many spots open each week?

Typically two golfers are selected each week, with total monthly capacity depending on demand and host availability.

What happens after I apply?

We review fit and follow up with either a round invitation or an off-course alternative when that is the better match.

Not a golfer?

What if I do not golf?

Use the Off the Course path. We can offer coffee meetings, office sessions, small-group meetups, or virtual planning with the same educational focus.

Resources

What resources do you offer on the site?

The Resources hub includes the Education Hub, FAQ, testimonials, the Yardage Playbook, and free calculators for buyers and sellers.

I'm a real estate agent or lender — can I host?

Yes. 18 Holes to Home is recruiting host pairs (one real estate agent + one mortgage lender) in additional Pacific Northwest metros. The program uses reviewed buyer inquiries, documented host terms, and buyer-choice safeguards. The application page is at /become-a-host.
